      This is probably to do with psychology and how people respond to colour. The more powerfully it influences you, the more deeply embedded in your thought processes and subconscious it becomes and therefore the more likely it is to show up in processing during sleep – dreams.

      You can test this by concentrating a lot for a very long time on one kind of thing all day – sometimes you will then dream about it. For example, when I started doing further maths in school I did so much maths that I would dream in numbers. When I was revising for my university exams and revised organic chemistry for a whole day I would dream in reaction mechanisms!
