        There are so many reasons that someone may be blind – the eye is very complicated so itcan easily go wrong. I read a book not long ago about a man whose corneas basically ended up coming off. He had a lot of operations but in the end he went blind. You can be born with blindness the way you can be born with colour blindness too – lacking some rods or cones or with them in the wrong places.
