        This is sort of true yes. All of our eyes scatter light, and blue light scatters better than red light, so all of us, in theory, have blue-looking eyes. However, some of us have melanin in the eyes, which is a dye that looks brown, and some of us don’t – if you have no melanin your eyes look blue because of the scattering, if we have melanin in the eyes they look brown, and if we only have some melanin they look bluey-brown, and tend to be green or hazel. When babies are born they often have blue eyes, because melanin takes time to develop – if they are going to have brown eyes, they will slowly go brown as they grow, and the melanin forms.
