Manganese is baby pink as a solid and makes dark red beads, so I guess if I wanted a pretty prink bead I would need to start by mixing manganese with some other metals. I get reddish ones with phosphorus in and phosphorus has a “red” form, so I guess I would mix manganese, phosphorus and some white metals like sodium to dilute the colours a bit. 🙂
