I want to be a professional science cimmunicator – organising events and training, doing performances and presentations and talking to everyone I can about science. It is very competitive though so my back up is climbing instructing and continuing to volunteer!

I’d like to become a scientist in history, analysing ancient pigments and helping conservators get the information they need to preserve the treasures we have. I’m hopeful that I will get funded to do this, but if not then possibly go into business baking wedding cakes or open a cafe, then keep up the lecturing or teaching part time 🙂

I am working now as a Research fellow in MRI imaging, to gain a new set of skills…. this is only a 6 month contract so come September I will be looking for another position again. I hope to pick up a variety of experience within Chemistry, in the field of imaging, and then eventually set up my own research group
