      My main hobby is climbing and teaching climbing. I also write novels – I have finished first drafts of 18. At other times I do archery and until recently I did some salsa dancing. I do a lot of science communication activities in my spare time and I also cook and bake vegetarian food. Sometimes I blog and draw/paint or do other DIY – making a bbq, desk, set of miniature top hats…

      Cooking…I love cooking! I especially like cooking for lots of people. I also enjoy the cinema and films in general (although I do have a special fondness for superhero/comic book films). I’m also a keen gardener…I grow plants and flowers from seed…I took some poppy seeds from my Nan’s garden a few years ago and I still grow them every year 🙂

      I am part of the Bristol university lifesaving society. we learn first aid skills as cpr and water rescue. we then go to other universities and compete, we get judged on how fast we are and how well we deal with situations such as car crashes or boat capsizing and other various incidents. I also like tennis badminton and squash; swimming and have tried sports like football, kayaking and archery. I used to play in a brass band but I don’t have time. I watch films, play video games and do computer programming/website designing.

      I like to bake cakes, archery, go walking, read scifi books, go to railway museums and aircraft museums. If I’m feeling lazy then I settle infront of the TV & watch movies or go out to the cinema. Apart from that you will find me fixing my dads classic car or fettling one of my own!
