Do science. It’s a simple as that. The more science you do and learn the more you know what science you’re interested in and the more you think in a sciencey way and get good at solving science problems – this will definitely help you later.

I was under the mistaken idea that I had to learn the course content of science really well to get ahead, but actually knowing a wider range of science (so long as I still worked hard in class) would have helped make science easier when I did my undergraduate degree – you can’t prepare for 4 years of intensive science study in the time you’re in school, but you CAN get your skills up. In my first year I realised this and spent some time practising science problems over Christmas holidays. When I went back my tutors wanted to know what I’d been doing with my time – I was a MUCH better scientist than I had been for the first term!

If you love it and you live everyday being excited to your very bones by the world around you then you don’t need me or anyone else to inspire you to do science…you’ll not be happy doing anything else…you already know.
As far as advice goes…don’t get distracted…get your education…get you’re degree (you’ll know which discipline you want to do because when you talk about it you won’t be able to stop yapping on and on about it!)…then do what you want…the main thing is get the degree…I would suggest a PhD though…it’s so exciting!
