  No it’s not true. Some people can and some people can’t…or rather the truth of the matter is most people can’t remember. I think I dream in colour but is it really the case that I dream in black and white but my mind fills in the colours when I remember my dream? I think as long as you have good dreams it doesn’t matter too much.

I don’t think its true because I saw colour in mine, but maybe it was my memory being annoying after I woke up!

I always see colour in my dreams but they always seem weird

I have definitely seen colour in my dreams. When I was younger I used to have a recurring dream about getting in a vehicle that looked like a giant golden hen and driving it off with all my friends in it. The striking part of the dream was “giant golden hen” so the colour was important in this dream! XD
