Without the sun we would have no photosynthesis so no plants for food or making oxygen to breathe so we would die out. We would have no fuel for power and the earth would eventually become a dead rock!
I think we would very quickly die from the lack of energy that comes from the sun, I imagine the temperature drop would probably do the damage quite fast. The other issue is that the sun is what we orbit around, if it suddenly vanished we would suddenly be flung in whatever direction we happened to be going, probably causing enormous earthquakes and tsunamis, plus sending us hurtling towards an asteroid belt.
The earth would die very quickly without the sun. It would cool very quickly, and as Keiran says the weather would also stop. Without the sun’s energy our planet would freeze and become another dead space rock.
The moon would cool quickly as well! We would still need the sun’s energy to make food, even if we had an artificial way of doing it and didn’t need plants. The sun is the source of pretty much all our energies – fuels, thermal, solar, et cetera! I’m not sure about wind and tides; I know they are affected by temperature though.
(Actually you could write a good sci-fi story about people living on the moon with a dying sun trying to stretch out life as long as they could and find alternative sources of power in a dying world)

Okay, but what would happen if before the sun died out, scientist found a way so people could live on the moon?
(#random question)
