Sometimes, but mostly I trut the many safeguards in place. I have been a student safety rep and am now a school of chemistry First Aider so I have made it my business to learn about safety and get involved because the more you know the better equipped you are!
I have had loads of accidents in the lab, but all very minor. I think we make out hazards to be worse than they are really. We’re somewhat hysterical because science is magic – it has power over us!

Yes, but I’m more scared of tripping over my own feet! At least the hazards from the chemicals I can use safety equipment to protect me from, my own clumsiness I cannot 🙁
